In 1998 it was obvious that the nutritional supplements trade was experiencing an unprecedented growth in the developed markets around the world. Abduljawad Group of Companies (AGC) realizing that the trend will soon replicate itself in the Middle East, decided to embark into the retail and wholesale of nutritional supplements and chosen Dubai as its base. In collaboration with its associate consultants in the United Kingdom Planet Nutrition® retail concept was born a year later. Dr. Salim Abduljawad established Planet Nutrition in the UAE in 1999 to import, distribute and retail quality nutritional supplements and health food products. It was based on a concept initially developed by our associates in the United Kingdom.
